PARTY ON PARADE'S PARTY ROOM GUIDELINES

In order to run fun, successful online parties and provide a great experience for both vendors and guests of Party On Parade, the following Rules of the Road and Guildelines are now in place at our party site as of today, June 14, 2010 and forward. When signing up to rep as a vendor, you are agreeing to abide by these terms and guidelines.

This party site is provided FREE OF CHARGE in most cases to vendors in order that they might promote their business. We are all adults here. The moderator team has put the following in place to insure the smooth running of Party On Parade and a fun business environment for all:

1.  All vendor spaces are Free unless otherwise noted. As such, they are first come, first served, one vendor per company please. We do ask that everyone be considerate of their fellow reps and vendors when reserving party slots.

2.  If you reserve a spot, it will be confirmed via email. Please reserve your spots more than 24 hours in advance. That email serves as confirmation of your reserved spot and in the event you can not attend the party, please notify us as soon as you know you will be absent by emailing scentsationalbiz@aol.com  That way we can allow another rep to take your spot.

3.  If you no show a party after reserving a spot, unless you notify us or it's a dire emergency, you will not be able to reserve another party spot for the next 90 days. Any reserved spots you had for future parties WILL be taken down and made available others. This is to insure that our vendors who reserve spots show up, present and keep the party going. Likewise, if you habitually rep your spot and leave the party room not showing your support for your fellow vendors, the 90 day rule will apply too. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to make this site a great party room including the scheduling of vendors to keep things lively. We are sorry to have to put this in place but no-shows and people not supporting their fellow vendors does not make for a good successful party. This is all in courtesy to your fellow vendor and the guests also.

4.  If you wish to rep a party with a confirmed spot, requests must be submitted 24 hours in advance of the party. Due to the logistics of running a successful party, the moderators can no longer accomodate requests hours before or during the party. Any open spots will be up for grabs for vendors who might want to present during the chat room by a number pick with closest one who wants to rep getting the spot. This is at the sole discretion of whoever is moderating the party but we will try to make empty spots available for presentations.

5.  As a vendor, the success of the party depends not only on the moderators and Party On Parade, but on you as well. Please invite your contacts to join the party, share it via social media, yahoogroups etc. This insures a more successful party for everyone! The more guests we have, the better the party and will be much more fun than just vendors presenting to other vendors. Please help us make your experience here successful too! Inviting takes just minutes.

6. FINALLY - This site is run and made available for free to the vendors. We do our best to make this a great experience for you and try to be accomodating. However, the moderator team does not need to hear griping, complaining or negativity from anyone nor is it productive. Please realize we do our very best for you and do this at no charge to assist you in building your business.

7.  MOST IMPORTANTLY:  Please be courteous of the vendors. Please keep cross talk during presentations to a minimum. Please be supportive of the vendors and avoid any discouraging or negative comments towards them, their products or their company. In other words, if you don't have something positive to contribute, please say nothing at all. Before making comments, please put yourself in the shoes of the vendor and think about how you would feel if someone said that to you during your presentation. This party site 100% believes in the golden rule and that there is an opportunity for everyone to do business.

The vendor for each company during any evening should be shown the utmost courtesy. That's not to say we can't have fun. Likewise, any guest or attendee found to be trying to encourage guests to do business with them versus the scheduled vendor during any chats here will be banned from the party site as this is unethical. Please be aware that the moderators CAN and WILL be able to see your Private Messages in the event such suspicion arises so please just don't do it.
